"HOW STRENUOUS ARE THE OUTINGS?"
Exactly as gentle or as strenuous as you like. You see, we design the outing around your interests and your level of physical ability.

Not only do we create a journey that is just right for you, but we keep checking along the way to ensure your satisfaction. In fact, we don’t just check on your enjoyment: we obsess about it. No other Sedona tour provider offers this kind of personal service. Nor can anyone else get you to where we can.

"WE WANT TO DO SOME HIKING AND ALSO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT VORTEXES. CAN WE HAVE BOTH?"
Yes! In fact, it is our specialty! We don’t believe you can find out much about Sedona’s energy when you’re stuck inside.

"I ONLY BROUGHT SNEAKERS. CAN I STILL GO OUT WITH YOU?"
Of course. Sedona’s red sandstone is blessed with two great properties. First, it gives you a good grip. Second, as stone goes, it is pretty soft, making it easier on the knees.

If you would like to buy hiking shoes, we recommend Canyon Outfitters, located on Hwy 89A, on Sedona's west side.

"MY PARTNER IS PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED. DO YOU HAVE AN OUTING THAT WORKS FOR US?"
We do, and odds are, we’re the only ones in town who will. Certainly, a wheelchair puts some limits on where we can take you, but we focus on all the great places that can be seen without much effort. Ask about our “Gentle Journeys” which provide an ideal tour of the area.

If you don’t love it, you don’t pay.
To make this guarantee even greater, we ask you not to pay until it is over.

WHERE DO WE MEET?
Your personal Sedona Private Guide will come to you, driving a comfortable SUV. If you’re staying in Sedona, you can let us know upon arrival which room/cabin/condo number you are in, and we’ll come knocking.

WHERE DO WE MEET IF WE’RE COMING UP FROM SCOTTSDALE/PHOENIX?
We’ll meet at the Hilton Sedona, on the south side of town.

Ask your concierge how to get to Interstate 17.
Take I-17 North for 90 minutes to the sole Sedona/Oak Creek Canyon exit.
Travel north (left of the ramp) on Hwy 179 (called SR 179 on GPS devices) for 8 miles to the very first traffic circle.
Turn left off the travel circle onto Ridge Trail. 100 yards ahead, turn right, and follow the entry road to the Hilton Sedona circular driveway.

In rare cases, we’ll ask clients to meet at Airport Mesa. Directions:

Continue north on Hwy 179 minutes until it ends at the intersection of Hwy 89A (approximately 15 minutes).
Turn left (around the traffic circle) onto Hwy 89A and follow for 1 mile.
Turn left onto Airport Road. (See turning lane.)
Follow Airport Road to the very top of the mesa, rather than stopping at the dirt pull-out. On top, you’ll see an overlook to your right, but pull in to the gravel parking lot on the left.
This is where we sometimes begin.

Note that cell service between Greater Phoenix and Sedona is poor.

"I'VE HEARD MORE ABOUT JEEP TOURS IN SEDONA. WHY GO OUT WITH YOU INSTEAD OF ON A JEEP TOUR?"
We have about 67 reasons why we think we’re better (although technically, as we drive comfortable Jeep Grand Cherokees, we're a "jeep" too). In the end, it comes down to one big difference. The typical jeep tour is typically designed for the typical stay of the typical tourist (2 hours, the average length of stay of Sedona’s 3 million tourists).

We don’t consider you typical. Do you?

"WHY GO OUT WITH SPG INSTEAD OF HIKING ON OUR OWN?"
We don’t consider this an “either-or” proposition. We encourage you to hike on your own! The difference is that coming out with us, you’ll learn so much about Sedona and you’ll see places you might not have found on your own. You won’t get lost, and you’ll see the best stuff for the time of day, week and season that you’re here.

Many clients maximize the value of an outing by going out with us early in their stay, to pick our brains about what other trails would be fun to walk. (Nobody knows them better than we do!) Some find out our best tips for seeing the Grand Canyon, and get valuable itinerary planning advice from us. We provide it all with pleasure, since our highest goal is to help you have a rich experience of Sedona.

"WHAT ABOUT YOUR TRIPS IN THE SOUTHWEST AND ABROAD?"
We'll make you a deal: come out with us in Sedona, and we'll tell you everything about the other amazing places we go. Then, we’ll have time to get to know each other. If you become interested in one of our fascinating adventures beyond Sedona, then we both have a tremendous advantage. For us, we’ve gained insight into your interests and abilities, something no other provider would even care to ask. Meanwhile you can evaluate how we create adventures and get to know the people who will lead you on a trip. What other adventure company does that?
