You’ll learn how to soothe the mind, with techniques that bring about peace. Finally, you’ll tap into the richness of the soul through exercises that help you go inward. An exquisite guided meditation will help you finish with a feeling of being brand new.
Spa for the Soul is semi-private, so the number of participants is always very limited. At a more accessible price than our private outings, Spa for the Soul is open for anyone with an interest in reconnecting with their true self. Yet some feel it offers even more value:

FAQ’s
- What happens at the Spa for the Soul?
Spa for the Soul is an affordable, enjoyable, one-day retreat open to individuals, couples and groups of friends. During the day, participants will enjoy a combination of activities and exercises that nourish body, mind and soul, indoors and out. To ensure a personal experience, we always keep the number of participants small.
- What time does it begin and end?
The event begins at 10:00am and ends at 4:00pm.
- Where is it held?
Participants meet at our offices in Uptown Sedona. Please note that GPS devices are frequently inaccurate in Sedona.
- We recommend that you print and follow these directions from Greater Phoenix:
Take Interstate 17 North for 90 minutes to Exit 298 – Sedona/Oak Creek Canyon.
Turn LEFT off the exit ramp onto S.R. 179 (locally known as Highway 179) and follow for 15 miles until it ends at a traffic circle.
Turn RIGHT off the traffic circle onto SR 89A (locally known as Highway 89A) and follow less than ½ mile through the first traffic light.
Shortly after the light, move into the left hand turn lane, and turn LEFT onto Jordan Rd.
Follow Jordan Road for ¾ mile, and turn RIGHT onto Hillside Drive.
At the Stop Sign, turn LEFT onto Mountain View Drive.
Uphill, on the right, you’ll see a wide driveway to park in for Spa for the Soul. The street address is 583 Circle Drive.
- For those who wish to avoid occasional weekend traffic in Sedona, follow these alternate directions:
Take the Hwy 260/Cottonwood Exit off I-17.
Follow to Cottonwood for approximately 15 miles. Turn right onto Hwy 89A (SR 89A) and follow for 18 miles to Sedona, continuing until the double traffic circle.
Stay on 89A through the circles, entering Uptown Sedona.
Through the traffic light, move into the left hand turn lane, and turn LEFT onto Jordan Road.
At the Stop Sign, turn LEFT onto Mountain View Drive.
Uphill, on the right, you’ll see a wide driveway to park in for Spa for the Soul. The street address is 583 Circle Drive.
- What is the price?
The price for the day is just $95. This includes all fees, permits, taxes and charges. It is payable by cash or check on site.
- How healthy do I need to be for this?
The day does involve gentle movement, especially walking in nature. Therefore this event for those who can walk freely and without pain on an uneven surface (i.e., a nature path) for short periods. Participants will be introduced to some yoga or some tai chi, but very gently. No prior experience is required for anything we do in Spa for The Soul, only your interest. And although it has never happened, if there is any part of the experience you don’t want to do, you can always opt out.
- Is there food?
Water, healthy snacks and fruit will be provided throughout the day, but lunch is not included. There will be a lunch break, and the staff will suggest several nearby places to eat, and assist you in getting there. Some guests like to bring their own sandwich or salad, which is perfectly fine.
- How should I dress for the day?
Dress for comfort and for movement. Please wear shoes or sneakers that you will be comfortable walking in on natural, uneven surfaces.
- Is there anything else I should bring?
We recommend that you bring the following:
- a notebook or journal and pen.
- a hat and sunscreen
- water
- in order to carry these, you may want a small bag or backpack
If you forget any of these things, don’t worry. We’ll provide them.
- Are we outdoors all day? What are the bathrooms like?
We will be outdoors at different points, but not all day. Therefore a modern restroom is frequently available. When we are outside, we’ll make sure that conditions are comfortable, i.e., sunny in winter, shaded in summer. Your comfort is important to us.
- Will we be meditating?
During the day, we’ll offer practical tips for those who would like to learn to meditate, or to improve their current meditative practice. To demonstrate, we’ll guide you in an enjoyable meditation. This could occur indoors, or in the beauty of Red Rock Country. No prior experience is necessary.
